In between all the ongoing fixes from some of our regular florists, I wrote the content for a florist’s upcoming E-mailer. E-mailers are not difficult to write, time to put a complete package together seemed to be this shop’s hurdle. Just so you know where I stand, I do not believe in email marketing just for the heck of it. I believe if you are going to email your customer database, it better have a great offer. I came up with a great offer, wrote the emailer and the blog that features the offer and uploaded the online promo code for order tracking. All of this will certainly result in more sales. Each and every change in one site needs to then be made in the other. This morning’s call for help came from a florist needing in-depth price matching. Never before had she ever attempted to match the prices as the workload for this kind of detailed maintenance was far more than was ever possible on her own.
