question-mark I started working with another florist yesterday. This florist was going out of town and did not have time to get started over the phone. So I emailed her the start up questionnaire and she emailed it back. This put the start-up process in fast motion because she filled it out and that gave me everything I needed to know in order to get started fixing her website. Most of the time when I start working with a florist, the flower shop owner and I cover everything that is on the questionnaire over the phone.  This florist was extremely busy yesterday, and did not have time to fit this into her schedule. (We all know how Fridays can be in the floral industry.) Now, while she is out of town she will have me working on her website. When she gets back she will see all the changes that she requested. What a great way to leave on vacation….having Florist Website Help working on your website while you are resting and relaxing, knowing the list of changes she did not have time to get to will be taken care of. This is just what the floral industry needs. Shop owners need someone to take care of their website. In my opinion, having a neglected website is like opening your shop with dead flowers in your cooler. Am I right?

email-image21In between all the ongoing fixes from some of our regular florists, I wrote the content for a florist’s upcoming E-mailer. E-mailers are not difficult to write, time to put a complete package together seemed to be this shop’s hurdle.  Just so you know where I stand,  I do not believe in email marketing just for the heck of it. I believe if you are going to email your customer database, it better have a great offer.  I came up with a great offer, wrote the emailer and the  blog that features the offer and uploaded the online promo code for order tracking.  All of this will certainly result in more sales.  As you can see,  Florist Website Help does more than just website maintenance.   We offer promotional packages that are unlike anything else in the Floral Industry.

Teresa, Where do we start?

Posted by: Admin | Comments (0)

startingYesterday was my first day working with another new shop and at the beginning of this process a great deal of work is needed. We get started with the home page, most often it still features the previous seasons items so we fix that first. Then we move right into the format and then onto the specific items, codes and pricing.  Once these have all been updated we get right into what makes the shop unique and make sure this is well represented on the website. This particular shop was missing many new items so we fixed that also.  Floristwebsitehelp.com has made this site look fresh and new. Best of all the shop owner is thrilled with the results.

Florists Compliments
Florist Website Help

Posted by: Admin | Comments (0)

thank-you21

Today was a day of working with several different flower shop owners and a few vendors. Much to our delight they were very complementary of the services we are providing. Who doesn’t like a complement?  We love them, mostly because helping florists update their website is the soul purpose of our business. One florist  said, “I am so happy that I have Florist Website Help to keep my website updated, ….. Honestly, I get to my shop every morning with my list of projects to get accomplished and I just never have the time to get to it. “

email-image1A florist asked me if she could email me her changes. Shortly after that I received six emails. One email for each category that she wanted fixed.  It had been a long time since her website was updated, which is what I find with most florists. This is one of the reasons I love what I do. Genuinely helping  florists do what they want and need, makes me feel good about the service my company offers.  Her site was overdue and when she heard I could do it for her, she was thrilled to email me all the changes she wanted. The total number of items needed to be deleted exceeded 100. Now she has a clean site and is happy with the job that I did for her.
